Minecraft Unity

Minecraft Unity is a safe, fully moderated Minecraft server designed to give tamariki aged 8-14 a fun, creative space to build, connect, and grow. With a focus on community, collaboration, and personal development, Minecraft Unity goes Beyond Play-turning screen time into meaningful learning.

To support teamwork and communication, our world features exciting extras like Skywars, Parkour, and a Creative world. These environments encourage tamariki to work together, build team skills, and explore creativity while meeting new friends in a safe and engaging space.

There are no hidden costs, and membership includes full access to the server. Minecraft Unity supports both Java Edition (Windows/MacOS/Linux) and Bedrock Edition (Windows & iPad).

Membership Details

Server Access

All membership options gives your child access to the Minecraft Unity Servers which are open from 7am - 9pm NZDT every day. Our servers are only accessible to verified club members and moderated by the Beyond Play team. The server is strictly available to ages 8-14 to ensure that students are similarly aged.

Unity Social Club

Club members will also have access to our weekly Unity Social Clubs held on Tuesday's @ 4pm. This is an optional event (but we think you'll love it). Sessions are ~1hr long and include a mix of chats, play, events, challenges, and mini-games designed to help students make friends with like minded individuals.

Server Details

Our servers offer something for everyone-whether your child loves survival, creative, or pvp mode, we've got it covered! With exclusive features like pets and an in-game economy, Minecraft Unity is designed to promote collaboration and community.

Discord Community

Students will gain access to our private Discord community, where they can stay updated with weekly announcements, events, and activities. Students are grouped by age and given access to dedicated text channels where they can chat and connect with friends outside of scheduled social sessions in a safe moderated environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each child will need their own Minecraft and Discord account to participate. During the Social Club, students must have access to both platforms.
Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime. You'll continue to have server access until your next billing date, dependent on if you are on a weekly or monthly plan. Student accounts are retained for two months after cancellation-if not reactivated within that time, they'll be removed.
Members can remain in the program until the end of the school year in which they turn 14 (typically the end of Year 10). Subscriptions will conclude in December of that year. For one additional month, students will continue to have access to the Discord server to stay in touch with friends. After that, accounts will be permanently closed and all data will be deleted.
We support both Minecraft Java and Bedrock editions. For Bedrock we currently only support players on iPad and Windows PC. Students must use version 1.21.4 to access the server.
Yes, a valid copy of Minecraft is required to join the server and take part in Social Club activities.
Yes, the server is accessible daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM NZDT.
That's absolutely fine. Social sessions are optional and missing one will not impact your child's membership status.
Yes, for community safety, all students must complete a one-time online video call verification before accessing the server. Students who have previously attended classes will not require verification.
Parental supervision is not required during sessions unless your child needs assistance with technology. Our team is here to support them throughout the experience.
