Matt & Linda

Hi! We're Linda and Matthew, a husband-and-wife duo with a love for all things engineering and technology. Linda is a Civil Engineer, and Matthew is a Control Systems Engineer, and together we've spent years working on innovative projects in our fields. Combining our experience and passion we created Beyond Play to take our tamariki beyond technical skills. These are the building blocks for success in any field, all our workshops are designed to foster collaboration, creative problem-solving, and confidence in working with others.

As of 2024 we moved on the road travelling the beautiful Aotearoa in our caravan. In addition to the travelling we hope to visit as many towns and cities to collaborate with local schools. If you're a teacher or part of a school board and are interested in having us be a part of your journey, please don't hesitate to get in touch. In 2025 we will be moving south of Auckland heading towards the lower North Island and onto the South Island by Spring 25'.
